While having "mon café" at Tim's this morning....I decided to run up the lower York and St-Jean to take a few photos to tease you a little.....
Hmmmmm?? What fly to you suggest for this morning??!!
I wont tell anyone...Promise!:D
Dear Lady Amherst,
In those conditions, here's how I'd rig up:
The fly of choice: Mikael Frodin's "Phatagorva" (3"-4" long) tied on a plastic tube with a tungsten conehead.
The line of choice: Loop Adapted Fast Sinking Shooting Head.
Rod of choice: Sage 9141-4.
Reel of choice: Bogdan #300.
I'm on my second dozen Templedog Stoneflies. See you June 5th: I'll be ready!
After talking with you over the past several months in preperation for the spey class and three days of fishing afterwards, you must have forgotten to give me this "Templedog Stonefly" recipe...Hmmmm.
Tony and I intend to arrive early enough on the evening on June 5th to take a look around enjoy a nice single malt...Join us if you can at the Adams...
How about a first report on the general conditions ? Anyone been out and been able to get an early picture of the season for us?
"there in spirit"
