Near Nuff Crayfish did the trick!

On Saturday I fished for largemouths in a small, shallow pond that's connected to the Housatonic. I tried a couple different flies without success and then tied on the Near Nuff Crayfish that I got in the fly swap and promptly caught 3 largemouths :D . Biggest was a chunky 15"er. Thanks Neil!

Hey! Glad to hear it!

I went out friday after work. Bought a new leader at the tackle shop, but was in such a hurry to get fishing, i decided my old leader was "Good Enough". Tied on a hares ear, and on the third cast hooked into a nice big brown. I saw it boil, a tail the size of my hand broke the surface, he turned downstream and was gone...

Just my luck, i'll go back with the 8wt this weekend.

Neil
