Early winter stocking of Atlantic Salmon broodstock fish will begin December 4 and weather permitting, ending by Christmas! These fish are "retired" broodstock which
had provided eggs for the Atlantic Salmon restoration efforts in the Connecticut River watershed. The vast majority of fish came from the US Fish & Wildlife Service's
Bethel, Vermont hatchery with a few fish from MassWildlife's own Roger Reed Salmon Hatchery in Palmer. Below is a listing by District and town of the waterbodies
stocked with these magnificent fish! For other details, contact the appropriate MassWildlife District Office.
