FYI:
Capt. John Pirie will be presenting "In Shore Fly Fishing for Stripers and Blues" on Tuesday, February 12 at the New England Saltwater Fly Rodders.
John has been a licensed charter boat captain for almost 15 years, and has fished extensively for striped bass and bluefish in the waters around Plum Island & Cape Ann.
His presentation will focus on the in shore where and how of fly rodding for stripers and blues with a focus on the small baitfish found in the local waters. If you haven't seen one of John's presentations before, he does a great job, and usually has some great video.
The NESFR's meet at the Fireman's Hall in Newbury Massachusetts, and John will go on around 7:30 PM. Doors will open around 6:30 for a fly tying session.
The meeting is open to the public, all are welcome. There is a $10 fee for non-members.
Please email me if you have any questions or need directions to the show.
