"Totally Different????" As a mortgage banker and chaser of the elusive Steelhead one 'learns to think out side the box.':hehe:

Actually, it's been an interesting 'year' so far; only fish I've hooked were on one weekend trip over to the Chetco. Several short trips here on the Rogue and I've had a 'couple of plucks' and that's been it so far.

Darned fish have been (until just the past few days) spread out and holding below Gold Rae Dam north of Medford. Gather the last two shots of rain we've had have finalllllly started pulling these buggers over the dam in numbers and into the upper river. Winter run fishing in March and April should be very interesting around here.

John Desjardins I screwed up the number of flys in this swap and got more than needed from everyone. So you will also get a bucktail streamer of mine in the package. All extra flys will go to suport the forum.

Everything is packaged and ready to ship I just need to verify a couple of addresses and they will go out.

SDHflyfisher so what's the news have all of the flies shown up yet

John Desjardins Dewey I'll look for them. Fred's may be a few days late due to the mails so it may take a week or two for me to get them back to everyone.

I haven't heard much about Buggers being used in the salt. It's a topic worthy of posting on the striper board.

Looking forward to see all of the variations on my favorite fly.

Does anyone fish these in the Salt?
