flytyer1948 I can relate to all of the problems and time spent in trying to keep things running. Just imagine trying to do it by yourself like I do and people wonder why I have no free time.

Thanks guys for a wonderful job.

juro One more note:

The "number of views" calculation was getting in the way of debugging so it was turned off for now. It will be restored when all is clear.

removed_by_request A truly heroic effort, thanks Sean.

In fact a huge THANK YOU for your efforts.

It's a bird... it's a plane...

It's our webmaster!

It looks like he's done it again. Things appear to be operational again... but we're on alert for a while.

until further notice. Please refrain from using it until a day or two passes. The indexes need to be re-generated by Sean when he recoups from lack of sleep, and no it wasn't the diaper changes

"Show New Posts" is working fine.

There is a list of upgrades on the table that he will be working on so on occasion the site will be turned off to get these done.

I can not tell you how much he's put into this keeping this resource available for us. When things get screwed up we realize it's on our shoulders to get them back on line, and there have been too many nights that we are on the phone cross-country until the wee hours to battle the server demons.

I might be concerned but in truth it's Sean's knack for getting the hard technical jobs done that is the key to our site's health. I'd be lost without his help, just wanted to give credit where credit is due - and an awful lot is due.

It's good to be past the nightmare and hope we don't see that happening again anytime soon.

BTW - we don't want to be foolish and think we're out of the woods just yet. We will monitor for a couple of days.

Welcome back!
