juro Ryan -

I'll post a pic as soon as I find my wide angle lens

Steelheader69... did we ever get any images of the swap flies? Do you need any photos scanned? Let me know, it's customary to provide images for people to post their recipes in the archive.

Ryan, change is usually good!

Rule # 1 of life: "Don't sweat the small stuff."
Rule # 2 of life: "It's all small stuff."

The way you said 'moving on' I thought you were headed to outer Mongolia.:hehe: You would be most welcome to take that trip anytime. Door swings in.

NrthFrk16 Hey Fred & Hal-
You should see the one I tied up for Juro...maybe when he gets a chance, he can take a pic of the monster Waddington Shanked bugger that was tied in the Steelie Swap for him.

Fred...I am moving on so you maybe losing a contact for excellent and hard to find flytying materials. As much as I did not want to, I had to make a change...would love to make it down and fish a couple summer days on the Rogue.

Hal, the "BowTier" (well, got that close enough)

is very cool stuff. Ryan is a great contact place to get the goodies.

Just finished up several new ones for tomorrow morning using BT materials.

pmflyfisher Ryan,

Picked up some of the Bow Tyer a couple of weeks ago, it does
dress full. Will give them a swim next week in Michigan.

Bowtyer Spey

Hook: 1 1/2 or 3/0 Alec Jackson Spey
Thread: Pink 3/0 Danvilles
Tail: Several Strands of Cerise Krystal Flash
Body: 3-5 Wraps of Pink Bowtyer 3x Zonker Strips
Wing: Several Long Strands of Cerise Krystal Flash

The Bowtyer fur comes in many differny colors, solid and two-tone and in 3 differnt lengths. It is cut very similar to rabbit strips but swims much bigger. It is the perfect compromise between marabou and rabbity
