MCorder Thanks, it's hard for me to imagine a bug on the bottem dislodged from his/her hiding place staying straight as it tumbles through the water.

John Desjardins Nice looking fly. I like the different hook. Now the 83 I think I could match it if it were PT nymphs.

A search of the archive came back with no results for this fly fishing staple. At last count my box contained 83 different sizes, colors, and weights of this fly!
I tie mine on a Caddis/Worm hook for better hookup's, the fish seems a litle less able to spit the fly.
