Igor j.c.

Amy Randall-Hazel of the Deschutes Angler takes full credit for the invention and design of the Lum Plum. The Rx (to the best of my knowledge) is as follows;

Hook - Salmon/Steelhead Up-Eye
Tag - Chartreuse (Fl Green) Floss
Tail - Orange-dyed G.P. Tippets
Body - 'Plum' colored yarn
Rib - Medium embossed Silver Tinsel
Collar/Hackle - Purple-dyed Guinea Fowl
Wing - Natural Polar Bear accented with 4 strands of Silver Holographic Flashabou (tied under the PB)
Head - Purple thread

I dress a few slightly fancier variants of the LP called the Faux Plum. If you'd like a photo, just drop me an e-mail.

Lum Plum

I read about this fly in a fishing report for the dechutes...
Does somebody know this fly or has a picture of it?
