Rod Holder Pic

Here it is. Basically it is a plastic flush mount rod holder from any marine store mounted in the starboard stern of my OK frenzy. I plugged the bottom of the holder with a crutch end in order to keep the water out, and then siliconed it on. I siliconed all around the mounting hole as well as the screws. Then, to hold the fly rods, I made the PVC section and machined the slot into it to allow the rods to slide in and out. The bottom section was a little loose, so I wrapped it with some tape to make it tighter in the flush mount rod holder. Pretty simple and works great. I want to add another one to the other side as well. Then I'll I have a nice trolling setup...I just need to be able to paddle at 6-10knots and then bring on the squid bars!
