flytyer tonyd,

I agree, I own 3 of them and do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reel with a lot of line capacity for use with the long-belly spey lines.

tonyd Grab a Redington AS in either the 11/12 or 13/14(depending on your rod/line needs) off EBay from Adam's Outlet. They are still some left for around $70US,which is a steal considering they are brand new.

I've been very happy with these reels since they first came out and own 8 of them.I wouldn't hesitate to buy more, especially at those prices.

Very solid and under rated reels IMHO,and have a ton of backing capacity.

DARKSTAR
Wanted: Spey Reel

...just found out that there are no longer spools avail for my reel and just added a THICK line to the arsenal, so need a reel that has alot of capacity. Don't want to break the bank(but don't want an explosion on the first run, either...), so was hoping to pick up something used. Anyone?
