The specs on the Cortland webpage indicate that a main belly of 30' + 15' tips = 45' head. Your review lists a 65' head. THeir webpage seems wrong (a 45' head is awfully short this side of the pond) - any idea which is the real deal?

scroll down on this page and you'll find my writeup about the line and my thoughts about the loops.

hope this helps!

juro How do you plan to use it? If you are stripping the fly all the way in for chasing fish, it's not pleasant. If you are swinging like in steelhead or salmon fishing, it's a great way to get versatility out of a single spool and a tip pouch in the vest.

Cortland 444 Change-a-tip

I am in for a new line and on the net I came across the Cortland 444 Change a tip. Does anyone know this line. Could not find a review. Wondering how the loops behave when throwing? I use a Cortland 444 WF and am very happy with it.
