debarb The best is "organza," material used to make ball gowns, wedding dresses, etc. You don't use the material as is, but the threads. Any dress-maker will have scraps of the stuff sitting around. If you're married, and your wife is the sentimental type, there's another alternative which I dare not mention.

Best Spinner Wings?

What is the best, most life-like imitation for spinner wings? I have tried hackle tips and polypro yarn, but have also seen some clear irridescent materials such as Rainy's Pearlescent Wing Ribbon and Scintilla's Spinner Wing Film. How about Antron? Is it better than polypropylene yarn?
