johnp Striblue,
I went to the archives, that helps , I am still confused as to how the back of the body is attached to the hook near the bend? is it glued on or is the thread just wrapped around the whole body?

striblue Go into the bonefish Tying archives and it is there ...going back about 1 and 1/2 years. Use the search feature.

turneffe crab question

Can anyone help me out with tying this pattern. I am trying to figure out a couple things.

1) how do you shape the body, anyone have an untied example?
2) how do you attach the back of the body to the hook?

I have in the Dick Brown book but I can't see how its done.
