removed_by_request You are right, I don't fish for them in the summer. To the best of my knowledge it is only May and the air and water temps are still low.

Water is in the 50's and air 70's, I even think its still spring. Could be wrong on that. These cooler temps make C&R possible. When July comes forget about it.

When the air and H2O temp are in the high 80's and above you'll find me sipping a cool drink in the shade and not steelhead fishing.

By the way did you ever send that thing on to Juro or me yet????

Now now...

MJYP, is this just a skam or are you acutally fishing for a skam? I thought you didn't fish for skamania since the water temps were too high and the revival time needed for the fish wasn't worth it? Maybe the water isn't too warm over there yet, which is understandable?

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't miss out for the world if they were there!

Skamania time

Rumor has it that the skams are starting to show up off the pier heads. Last nights rain should draw them up the Joe.

Saturday morn looks like a good jumping off date. Stay tuned.
