Thanks for the link to these. A tyer could learn a lot just by looking at the proportions and color (shading and blending) of the various parts of these flies pictured in the link.

Here is a web-site that that might prove interesting to those of you into full dress flies. Ken Sawada is a world famous Classic fly tyer from Japan. I gather he sponsors a contest each year, this site exhibits the winners from the last number of years.
