Atlantic Brood Stock in RI

I see by today's providence paper that the state is stocking some brood Stock in some local ponds, and Wood River, which is in the southern part of the state. Seeing the temperature is going to be around 20 degrees F it is tough fishing. The fish are between 6 and 10 lbs. I will give them a week, then I am going to try if I get a day over 30 degrees I have fished every month here in RI so I know it can be done. Just have to find some open water.
