boarmountain Really no reason not to fish it. Easy to tie, and materials are easy to get. It just looks fancy.

Very nice job, I am envious of your skills. But I could not fish it knowing that with my luck on the first cast it would be into the wood in our many log jams here in the great lakes.

New fly

This is the first salmon fly I have tied in 20 yrs. Since I don't have any of the classic materials anymore, I used what I had on hand. Any opinions?
