striblue Joe, before I even saw your last sentence I said to my self that looks like a merkin-Borski fly combo.... a fast swimming crab I would think.

Hi
Here are a couple of flies designed by a young Florida fly tier, he calls it the Kwan, according to the article in the Saltwater Fly Fishing Magazine, its been catching a lot of fish native to that area, namely Tarpon, Bonefish, as well as Rooster fish, where ever they hang out.

If you have notice there is a little of Borski-Merkin, in that fly.
Its a fairly easy fly to tie.
