Assorted foam poppers

These poppers are made from pretrimmed foam with tails and collars of saddle hackle. Flash material is added to the tail for extra action. Before the hook shank is pushed through the foam, it's coated with a light dose of Zap-a-Gap to help hold the head in place. The head is painted with Testor's model enamels, and eyes are added on either side for a final touch.

The poppers pictured are on a size 4 hook, and the overall length of each is about 3 inches.
