Well, Park and day passes don't bother me as you usually get

your monies worth. But as described above a $500 fine for stopping to take a picture????? Heck, worst case out here I know of if you don't drop your $3.00 for a day pass is $77.00. And the State and County has long since figured out that if (all the Rogue River park sites) you "require" a car to have a County and a State sticker all you'll get is a lot of '' tweeked off locals."

Other parks (not on the river) you need to have the proper day/annual pass. Which is 'ok' by me as they're kept clean, neat, port-a-poties, and all. What the State funds would never, ever, cover the real nut.

pmflyfisher They invoked a car parking fee in Michigan national forests a couple of years ago its $3 daily or $ 20 for the season to park your car at any national forest access site. More to come I suspect based upon the above article.

God Save US All.

You read 'stuff' like this and you have to sit back and wonder:
"Am I looking at the 'end of the beginning, or the 'beginning of the end.'"

Suspect the "demonstration" they're looking for, may not be what they get.
