Summer run?

KerryS and the PNW guys,

I'm gonna give the spey rod a renewed go this spring/summer with floating line/heads only. For the most part I will be clipping the hook at the bend for safety's sake but envision a time when I will do it for real. Although I would not present any real threat to the inhabitants (historically speaking), is there a steelhead run in the Skagit at this time? I would appreciate a PM on this for those who choose to answer.

KerryS, you answered this previously by private message when I posted on another forum but I do not recall your answer (I do remember that you corrected my assumption as to whether or not there was a trout fishery).

Thanks,
S.Russell
