DFix Terry, lighten up a little.

I'm not defending Jay, he can handle that himself. The intent here is to avoid a mob scene, and very well justified by doing so. Put two and two together.

Eddie's right - anybody with a little free cash ought to take advantage of this opportunity ASAP. I'm jealous 'cuz I can't swing it, but I hope everybody who goes has a hell of a time.

Eddie Any one who is free that day, and can swing the two bills would do well to e-mail Jay ASAP! This sounds like a very good opportunity. If he wasn't so secretive about the identity of the instructor, this class would have been filled in a day.

2HandTheSalt ' Lefty,' I think you are mistaken. The only thing I am, ' Promoting,' is the opportunity-of-a-lifetime for casting lessons with the best casting instructor there is. He is so hard to get, that you may never have this chance again. The last time I hosted one of these, I had to turn back dozens of people, which is why I did not post his identity.

My apologies if you thought I was promoting myself as, ' A very good casting instructor,' as that is not the case.

The reason I came to this forum, is because we really wanted to offer it to two-handed saltwater fly rod enthusiasts, and there used to be a few of them over here.

Lefty I love these people who contribute nothing to the dialogue or events here at the flyfishing forum and then show up only when it's time to promote themselves. It's a 2 way street. (this is my own opinion).

2HandTheSalt Could I re-emphasize, to correspond with me regarding this opportunity, please e-mail me at:

Thank You!

Two-Handed Casting Clinic?

If anyone is interested in a casting clinic for two-handed fly rods in the surf, with a very good casting instructor, please e-mail me direct:

This will take place with a very small group, here on Cape Cod, on June 15, 2002. I have a couple of extra two-handed rods, but am woefully short of reels. It will be a full day and will cost each of us $ 200. It will be worth every penny. Trust me:hehe:

I have only a couple of slots till open.
