artb I have the 444 camo also, I have used one since Capt Ray showed me his 3 years ago. It is a great line, just got a new one as I lost the old one, also rod, and reel I would like to see, and feel ther new Cortland 555, but the 444 Camo suits me fine

juro Haven't tried it Sean, but I love the 444 big game clear intermediate line. Got mine from the first batch that hit the shelf when I worked p/t at the flyshop; still workin' fine although it's less "pretty" than it used to be from being stepped on so much

rel1 Right up front I have not used this line but know of several people who have and they did not like it. Too slinky-like in the cold water; unlike the old aqua colored Wulffe saltwater line. Just I have heard and been told .

royal wulff saltwater monoclear line

Anybody used one? I can pick one up cheap and was curious if anyone on the forum has any experience with it.

I am partial to the cortland 444 camo line for my salt fishing but the price I can get for the wulff line is hard to beat.

Thanks for any insight you cna offer,

-sean
