I'm going to be opptimisitc because I believe we have many reasons to be opptimisitic...

We do not know how the Commision will vote and if for some odd, unexplained reason, the Commision votes against wild steelhead release, they are taking a cheap shot at democracy and they will hear about the horrible attrocity that they have committed.

But I must say, we had them outnumbered (by like 150-10), we had them outsciencedm, outargued etc. etc. etc.

roballen Support for WSR was strong among those in attendance support for killing wild steelhead was very light. There are at least 3 commissioners that are pro WSR and always have been. It is the remaining 6 commissioners that are the question. Someone less skeptical might say everything looks great. But my sence of pessimism tells me to wait until the decision is made (Feb) before I start celebrating any victory. There are many many WDFW personnel that oppose WSR. SO we will wait and see.
