juro It'll be fine with a tip. If you have the other section, and can find a piece of another lighter blank you can put the other piece inside the two but just a tip will be fine.

Redington Pursuit broken tip

I recently purchased a Redington Pursuit rod with a broken tip, it's missing about 2 3/8 inches. It's a 4 piece, 4 weight, 8' rod. Am I okay to add a new tip? How much will the performance of the rod be affected?
