Eric hey, Juro,
I'd be very interested in a group tarpon adventure.
Keep me in the tight loop

juro ... as a lifelong steelheader, every time a tarpon jumps I have a secret fantasy that it's a 5 foot long summer run steelie!

Maybe we should put together a group tarpon adventure...

FredA I hooked up with a couple of tarpon, both briefly, in peurto rico a few years ago and decided that game would be way to addictive. I try not to think about it.

Eric Can totally relate. I'm looking now for a trip for "baby" tarpon; last time I had good fishing for them was way too long ago, and they were the most exciting critters I ever fished for.

First time ... not the last

Made it to Key West for Tarpon. I have been telling me I would take a trip there since forever and when your in middle of your 60's it has to start soon.
What a fantastic place to fish! I saw litteraly over 2,000 big Tarpon in 4 days and several dozen Permit totaly amazed by the bird watching and the marine life sharks turtles dolphins etc..
I am booked again for next year and all I can think about is those big strings of 30 to 200 fish coming towards the skiff in 2 to 5 ft of water.
I have fished a lifetime for worthy fishes but I am so freaking excited about these dam Tarpon I might have to find a few other spots and times to get over it!!!!
