teflon_jones There's no comparison with striper numbers. Bluefin are much more rare, though they are spread out worldwide. Stripers also reproduce a lot earlier in life, which helps sustain the population.

Casting at Shadows How does this compare to the number of Striped Bass at the lowest before the ban on fishing for them was brought in?
Unfortunately enforcing such a thing worldwide would be nigh on impossible I suspect

teflon_jones Despite how delicious it is, I can't eat bluefin anymore because of how depleted they are and how guilty I feel. Thank the Japanese.
