Rip Ryder First fisherman arrive too....
While on patrol tonight, I checked Red River beach one last time at 2345hrs and found two guys fishing off the last jetty at the east end of the lot.

"We're all anxious, but a little early boys"

report read: G14 clear investigated, License checked, no action required.

Guernseybass RI was 44F yesterday. Today and tomorrow will be in the sixties.

Cooler next week though. I think the first scouts will be in RI in two weeks.

Paxton Wow...42! Looks like an early spring and maybe an early start to the season.
50 degrees should bring in some 'scouts"....at this point, stripers even with one stripe will do

boatdrinks Yeah let me know. I should be on the river most weekends in April. I'll be in the Keys the first week of May but most of April should be clear.

Guernseybass oh, and I was just reading this morning that the Lake fishers are pissed because they are having to pull their bob houses off the Lake due to melting & thin ice.

They are also three weeks early

I may well be, either Easter Weekend or Apple Blossom visiting the inlaws.

I was going to hit the Shenendoah NP for brookies, but I may take you up on that
