Dave17 I have one that's five years old and has held up very well. It casts well in close. It is made by scientific angler

re: Orvis line

I've been using the Orvis Bonefish lines for 3 years and have 6 spools (8 & 10 weights). They held up really well, cast great, but I'm still a novice compared to you guys.

I believe on eof the sales guys at Orvis in Boston told me that Scientific Anglers makes their lines.

Orvis line

Casts nice and smooth from the boat. I used it on a TFO TICR and had no troubles at all. It took a bit more line in the air to really load the rod than I would have liked when I was wading but not such a big deal. It's a very good line at half off!

BigDave I have one and like it - it has a long belly. Good for skiff fishing and long casts.

I still like the Wulff BTT the best...especially for wade fishing.

Orvis Bonefish line

Anyone use it? How does it compare to RIO and SA?

I've used Rio and Scientifc Anglers almost exclusively but got a pretty good price on the orvis line when I was up in VT. It's their top of the line line (couldn't resist that one-sorry) and I was wondering if people have used at and what they thought.

TIA.

Lee
