jimS Phil, welcome to the board and a great bunch of like-minded guys. Pleasant Bay in May/June was an excellent fly-friendly place for some real cows this year.. Watch the board for the annual spring clave date to linkup with the guys that fish the elbow on the cape. Dates have been mid to late May. This time of year (migration) the fishing is hit/miss. Find the bait, and it can be epic. This fall was poor for me.

Hello - Introduction

Hi All,

I'm new around here...have been reading for a while and have been conversing via email with John M. but just got signed up to post and contribute on the boards. My name is Phil. I live in Winchester, but do most of my saltwater fishing down the Cape. I keep a boat with my dad in Pleasant bay. I took up fly fishing about four years ago and get out as much as I can. This was a particularly slow year for me as far as fishing was concerned b/c I welcomed my first child (baby boy) in June. I'm looking forward to having more time next season and hopefully getting some TOW with like-minded and experienced fly fisherman.

Anyhow, hello all!

-Phil
