jimS The Sage SP was made until five or six years ago, and replacced by the SLT. As you probably know, the SP is a a kinda slow action rod. I have a 5wt, and love it for dry fly trout fishing. One nice thing about the rod was its availability in a 5-piece configuration for travelers.

Hi folks,
anybody who knows in what time period the SP (sage) was made in the factory?
Had a discussion about it with a friend.
did they discontinue the SP when the XP came or was it made up until the SLT-era.

Who knows some company history?
