RayStachelek Thanks Ron for the report on the "Gut." Glad the area is starting to picking up.

For those of you who are thinking about fishing RI this weekend from the Early Bird crowd, Seekonk River has a good tide at sunrise Saturday and Sunday. Colt State Park would be better after 12 noon on both days.

Adrian Ron, I missed the early bird but RI is do-able from where I am in Newtown CT. I'd be interested in meeting up at Colt.

for those who attended the Early bird clave

This is for those who attended the early bird clave and like wise got skunked at Colt State Park. There are fish there now at least 2 that I know of one 24" and the other was a break off- that's what I get for using 10# tippet in that current. There was also alot of bait in the run also. The fly: a modified Buffy- tied on a #2 EC254 about 3" long. Things are finally looking up for me anyway- I even christened the new line and reel. ron
