early stripers- Fall River

Fishawk- I think the area where the really early stripers are being caught is over in the Assonet River. In the past that area has held many holdovers and they become active before the fish in the Coles. I've been riding by both the Lees and Coles and haven't seen anyone trying yet. I was hoping to get out today but with the wind and the lower temps. I'll probably wait another week. Unless we get an afternoon with 60 degree weather(not in the cards yet). ronl
