Quentin Another nice tie. Thanks for posting. That fly would slay them in the river where I fish. Probably get some good largemouth bass too .

The unfinished fly in the first photo of part 2 looks like it would be a good fly just the way it is. Skip the deer hair and just finish off the head.

DIVING FROG (DEER HEAD CLOUSER)

A great lake trout and pike fly here in Quebec





HOOK- Large big game hook 1/0 to 8/0
Thread- Black or Tan (3/0) Big Game, Monocord or Kevlar
Tail- Chartreuse rabbit strip
Body- White Crystal chenille
Wing- Chartreuse crystal flash, white bucktail
Eyes- Bead chain
Head- White and chartreuse deer hair trimmed to create the head
