Frogfish A white Deciever tied with polar bear hair. Half&Halfs never fail either.

Another good one (and an easy tie) is the Salt Shaker which is a Feather-craft pattern: essentially a doubled back thin hank of salt & pepper Flash-a-bou.

virginfly Thanks Ron. I've tied up a couple and will use them this weekend. Wish me luck!

Paxton Look up "Crystal Sminnow" on the web....simple fly to tie.....all white... black bead chain eyes, white estaz on shank (eye to bend) and white marabou tail (hold together and cut flat at end...tail same length as shank), one piece of flash each side....match size to bait.....mimics just about any small bait fish.

Snook flies

Anyone have any suggestions for snook flies and how to fish them? Found a new spot on the west end of St. Croix today with a buddy of mine and had several hook ups and landed two. Their right off the beach, over a sand bottom, in about 3-6 feet of water and seem to be following small balls of silversides.
