Scrappy ideas..

I must be the largest consumer of lunch baggies! I use them for all sorts of scraps from tying. A while back, I had a tying class for a bunch of young kids, 12 & 13 year olds and gave away a box full of scraps for them to use as practice material. They were delighted! and made up some pretty neat "inventions" on their own and a good learning experience for them.

striblue Pete, That's perfect fly and a great way to use extra waste from Tying. I have also do it for salt...There is so much waste with certain tying material that saving it for mini flies is the way to go... I found it difficult at times to store it away in some semblance of useful order so the stuff does not get mixed up . Small waste from say super hair or uniques hair and even some maribou is useful to me for small shrimp flies or tiny minow flies and the like.

What to do with leftover Angel Hair?
Well after tying a bunch of larger Capt. Ray's Angels flies for lakers, I figured maybe trout would like a smaller version, which I made with all the scraps from the larger flies....
So far, very large Rainbows and Browns have been smashing this critter with ferocious strikes!
