Keep line in basket while run-n-gun

I was out on the water this morning chasing the fast moving birds over bass and it was blowing 25 SW. I normally just strip line onto the lower deck and it stays put enough to get me from place to place. Today that was not an option so I used the stripping basket. When running from place to place the cones keep the line from tangling but since I'm running the boat there's no spare hand to keep the line from blowing out of the basket.
Enter the Wet Rag - I threw a wet towel in the basket on top of the line and it made life much easier.

Works for me maybe it will for you.
