FlyFishMich The Ohio streams off of I-90 (near Cleveland) can be very productive but they are also finicky as far as water levels, or so I have heard. I am going to give them a try for the first time the middle of November.

Fishing is pretty good on some of the Lake Michigan tributaries (West side lower peninsula) that I have been fishing and generally see action every time out. PM and I will be more specific. Indicator fishing with flies works well on this side of the state.

I'm visiting my brother in Escanaba, MI in a couple of weeks and will be driving back to Maryland. Can anyone recommend which "Steelhead Alley" is best, down the West side of Lake Michigan or over the Soo and down?

Any suggestions on rivers? I have what amounts to a few hours of roadside fishing and I have to move on back to Maryland. Anything up around Escanaba as well. Thanks much.

-Chris
