RE:Stripers in San Fran?

I also hear that the season is Oct - May instead of the reverse, probably because the bay gets too warm inside?? (speculation)

I'll put a few feelers out...

RE:Stripers in San Fran?

Try www.danblanton.com, it's a helpful site and you get answers pretty quickly. I've fished at the Presidio and various other spots along the bay. It has been a while so forgive me if I don't remember the name of the town across the bay from SanFran but there were more access points there than in SanFran itself. Stripers were a bit tougher to catch than they are around here and I remember having to go fairly deep to find them.

Good luck.

Stripers in San Fran?

I have to go to San Fran for 2 weeks in May and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about striper fishing in the area?
