Good Point

heh, good point there. Eventually this summer I do hope to locate some snook though.

Dble Haul To be honest, I wasn't aware that redfish required shock leaders.

Shock Leader Materials

I'm preparing for my first inshore saltwater trip looking for some reds on the flats. Anyone experimented with a braided (Spider wire stealth or other) shock leader? I'll be using a couple of different shrimp patterns on a #4 and #6 hook, so I am concerned about getting proper action without losing too much gear.
