viflyer A diving baitfish gurgler was going to be my next try. The stuff is sitting here on the table ready to go. I bet this might be the ticket!

Adrian Yes, if they can't see it, let them 'feel' it.

Fish in murky waters tend to lose their inhibitions (even bonefish are suckers in a mud) so something that kicks up a disturbance would be my choice.

juro Could be action.... have you tried a popper, slider, gurgler, or something that pushes some water?

Snook fly?????

OK, my friend and I have been fishing this spot on the beach on the NW corner of St. Croix for Snook at dusk. He is fishing with a spinning rod and a 4" Blue/sliver Rapalla and nailing the fish. These fish lie in the dirty water no more thsn 20-30ft. from the beach.

I have been throwing all kinds of flys at these guys and I can't get a hook-up. I have tied some nice baitfish immataions and no luck.

Any one have any fly suggestions in this particular situation???

Norm
