Charlie Nwflycaster,

Doc Ski has several books out on the subject that may help you and I know there are software programs that will do what you want. As for thread weavers, Renzetti has one out called the Wonder Weaver and I know there are several others out there. Check your Private Messages, I sent you some more info.

Charlie.

Hi all,
I am building my first of what will be at least a few rods. After doing some research I have decided to add a weave to the rods instead of regular wrapping. I absolutely love Doc Ski's work and would like to find out if there is a place to go to get the patterns, or if there is a computer program that can take a picture and transfer it into a pattern. Also if anyone knows of a jig for weaving that holds the threads that I could purchase or preferably build please let me know that as well.

Thanks in advance for the info.
