RE:Monomoy Adventure

Hi John -

It's certainly still a "go", in fact I received word from Sean Fields (Nauset Guide) of another option for a 5:30am departure on a very accomodating tour-style boat out of Chatham in addition to Keith and the Outermost shuttle.

The island closure scare will not affect us as far I can tell from the discussions around the NE net scene, but I will contact the really cool folks over at the Monomoy Refuge station before making any final judgements on the matter from hearsay.

My current focus is the upper Merrimac for salmon, and soon following that is Terry's Clave. Other than impromptu gatherings the Monomoy expedition will follow that. Since I called the Monomoy clave I guess now is as good as any to get the plans laid down to your point.

Look for a page on this clave going up soon... and consider the existing thread as the starting point.

RE:Monomoy Adventure

I just did some Motel research midcape for the Spring Clave and it's all under the Lodging section on the site. There is some useful info about a few in particular in W. Harwich.

I added a link also to http://www.capecodlodging.com/
Hope it helps.

RE:Monomoy Adventure

John,

I have it in my calendar as June 10 & 11.

I also checked the local state park (must be getting old, can't remeber the name) for available sites - booked up. I remember last year guys had no problem getting rooms at motels and would appreciate any suggstions anyone has.
