andre All I can say right now is go! simply amazing... the rivers, fishing, and the people are amazing. I got back the Germany and all I could speak about was what a great time I had and when to go back. Yesterday was a bit of long day and now the jet lag an lack of oxygen to certain parts of the brain.

Malcolm, I looked for some plus fours in London but they only had plus two's. I will right a proper report in the next few days. Malcom my deepest thanks for showing me the spectacular country you call home and hand picking the finest Scots and Brits from me spend sometime to get to know. BTW, Carron lines cast even better on the Carron beat, they are fantastic.

One last note prior to leaving to all of us on this side of the pond, we must purchase some proper angling attire.

looking forward to you coming over this fall and introducing you to some of our larger rivers.

Willie Gunn You should be in church preying for rain.
The upper river is quite slow, but the lower river below Craigellechie Bridge is fishing very well.
The first big rise should bring the fish up.

sluggan Hi, Malcolm,
I will be on the Spey in 3 weeks time.
Just a few miles upstream from Carron Bridge (where is a very good distillery nearby) fishing at Castle Grant.
Slowly I am worrying about the low water at the moment...
Hope that rain is coming soon....

Best regard to Speyside

Willie Gunn Yes but where is he?
He lost a Spey salmon on Tuesday but landed a Ness Salmon on the Inverness town water. A great achievement, he then returned the fish shocking the locals.
