D3Smartie so with the slider do you just like to make a good wake across the surface?

topwater here's a picture of the saltwater popper/slider i use off neah bay. the banger head imo slides better than the dink head when using a steady retreive but will pop loudly if you come across some surface busting rockfish... which makes it a pretty versatile fly. i'll take some pictures of the lingcod patterns i've fished, including one i've been playing with that should work better than the rabbit strip flies i've used over the years (faster sink with less bulk)

Chris... I talked with a guy the other day that went out and fished with you off Umatilla and said you guys were using some big bunnsy strip flies which seemed to target the lings and not as many rockfish....
I was hoping you could share some pictures of the flies you have been using out there.
Also if you;d post a picture of the popper you use for the salmon that would be awesome.
