Adrian Hey Mark!

Just say the word when you are ready to venture forth.

Summertime is a great time to begin since one of the first things you'll want to do is practice falling out and getting back in - in increasingly deep water - until you can do it in your sleep. Much nicer when water temps are up in the high 60s.

Well, here goes....

I will be the owner of a kayak before too long. I'm currently in the process of selecting and customizing.

Just thought all the other kayakers out there should be forewarned.

Adrian, will you teach me everything you know?
