old florida and tfo

are more then likely your best bet 250 for the tfo 14 weight and 255 for the no 7 or 8 old florida standard arbor ? load them full of gsp and a 14 wt line and tye some big flyies . just rember you only live once and sharks and tarpon in florida might big enough for the rod and reel. they also do some marlin fishing and tuna fishing some were off of the keys or a little north of that. they also get tuna and blue sharks? on fly of the new england state tell you one thing with me the rod would get a work out .

good luck and screaming drags stoney1013..........

Cam Sigler 14 weight

The Cam Sigler is well priced and casts really well for 14 weight. I know that a number of guys will put a Redington reel on it. Pretty well priced reel. You can go onto <SNIP> and the folks there will give you more ideas than you can handle. Good luck!

Bluewater setup

Does anybody have any experience renting gear or know of anyone who does this? I'm heading to Maui in a couple of weeks. My captain has experience with big game fly-fishing but does not have the gear. I'd love to get into Marlin on a fly-rod but can't justify the expense of outfitting myself with a 13/14 wt that I'm only going to use once. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dave
