Belated Report
A successful day on the catch side of things but not on the #,s or size Two juvinile Cohos a tad short of 30cm. [12 inches] off the beach. One on a crab the other on Needle fish fly. Things will get a lot better. Hope you all had a successful
4th of July on the fishing front.

juro Thanks for the report Ron, I can smell the salt air and see the 100 foot tall kelp reaching into the bluegreen depths. I can see the rip currents and birds gathering at bait balls, marine mammals spyhopping, eagles flying overhead, and bluffs overlooking the straits.

Day one Of a long weekend SAT June 29

From the PNW. Vancouver the cost line of North and west Van . The fish are here but not conected to me. Good catches of coho and springs But tides not rite for me.Great weather, light winds and two days to go on our long weekend.
As we say it,s fishin not catching.
