removed_by_request Over in Indiana I have seen guys using sparkplugs for weight. With Champion being the anglers choice.

If you are C&D'ing aka bottom bouncing get some of the dinsmore's and make mini slinkies out of them. Guys on the PM have been doing that for a while.

John Desjardins The gremlin shot never worked for me either. Dinsmore with the green coating has been better, but they dont have the ears.

Lead Splitshot alternatives??

hi guys, well, lead splitshot in the sizes i use for fishing have been banned for sale in my state. still legal to use but not sell. looking for some non toxic alternatives as ive pretty much depleted my lead supply. any suggestions? i use size B , with "ears", 99% of the time. tried the gremlin tin shot, no good. tried the tungsten putty, which works pretty well, but its very pricy. $5 for a piece the size of a quarter. wondering what others have tried. thanks, mark
